An original background concept from the Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies animated short, "Goodnight Elmer" (1940). Featuring a beautiful rendering of Elmer's bedroom, the hand-painted concept was created at the studio and used during the early development process. This era of Warner Bros brought to life some of the most memorable cartoons to ever be made, but most of the art was destroyed, making this concept an amazing piece of animation history. Measuring 7"x9" overall, with the image itself measuring 5"x6.5", the concept is in very good condition with minor page discoloration, some warping, and pin holes in the corners due to studio use.
